I went and seen Dr. Hollon today about dental implants. He made the process very clear and exactly what was going to happen. I enjoyed the time that his staff and he personally took to let me know exactly how this would go and exactly how much I would pay. He also understood my situation. And when that changes I will be back to him to get those implants put in. I think if you're a personal person he would be a great fit for someone and their family. Good luck to you doc. I was extremely satisfied with the care and treatment that I received at Shades Creek Dental. When I walk in the door I was warmly greeted by two very nice ladies at the front desk. The Dental Assistant/Dental Hygienist, Twilla Jackson greeted me shortly after I arrived and escorted me to a room. She did the preliminary work and then Dr. Macbeth arrived. He was very courteous and professional and made me feel relaxed and at ease. It was determined that I would need two tooth extractions and two bone grafts to prepare for implants. Dr. Macbeth and Twilla did an awesome job and with practically no pain experienced. The entire staff was a very cohesive team and it was obvious they all liked their jobs. I will be returning to Shades Creek Dental for crowns after the implants are in place. I highly recommend Shades Creek Dental if you are searching for a dentist in the Birmingham area.

Dr. Hulgan and his staff are the most professional, caring and detailed team I have ever experienced. I’ve avoided all dentistry where possible in the past due to the common phobia that pertains to the industry. After years with my severe incisor issue that eventually had to be dealt with, every step of their care was top of the range.
From initially calling the practice, booking the appointment, working through my insurance, and the surgery itself. I can’t even tell that surgery has been done looking in the mirror!!
Dr. Hulgan is hands down the most detailed and clinical professional I have met in his field. So much that I would call his work art.

Not only did Dr. Hulgan talk me step by step through the procedure, he and his staff made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Hollon is awesome!!! So down to earth and genuine. Always explains procedures how I can understand. The office staff and hygienist are all so professional and personable. I actually enjoy going to the dentist because of this group. Also the new office is beautiful!!!!! I love the state of the art updated technology!!!!! The tvs need something to watch instead of music though 😉 (just kidding)

Today I was a new patient at Hollon Dental. I saw Dr. Robin Hollon. Every aspect of the appointment was exceptional. I came in with two different issues. I found Dr. Taylor very kind, very professional, and very attentive. He listened to everything I said about my issues. He addressed both issues in the same day. Cutting edge technology allowed them to do a crown in the same day. Every staff member was very knowledgeable and helpful and made me feel welcome. I also appreciate Allison, Dr. Taylors assistant who went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. 3-D imaging allowed Dr. Taylor to see an issue that would have otherwise went undetected. I would highly recommend Hollon Dental and Dr. Taylor to anyonel looking for a new dentist .

I made an appointment here after seeing good reviews, and looking through their website. From the very first call I made to Book Your Appointment I was amazed. They have a beautiful new office and state of the art equipment to go along with very kind and qualified staff. Dr. Macbeth is very talented and goes above and beyond. His office is new and has amazing technology. The chairs are very comfortable with temperpedic padding and he has monitors mounted on the ceiling so you can interact during checkups. The hygienist was gentle and efficient. During the entire encounter everything was explained very well and they made sure I understood the plan. You will not be disappointed if you choose Shades Creek.

Love this office! Ive been see8ng Dr. Hollon for several years now. Today, I had an old broken crown replaced in about two hours. They have the latest equipment with 3D imaging. My crown fit perfectly with minimal effort and no pain! The dentists and staff are excellent and very hospitable. I highly recommend this dentist office. 😁
